Hmm... well I must say my Fox Service Manual from Bentley Publishers is very useful. I like to read books once I get into them... but I don't ever go, yay I wanna read a book! But once I start reading one I get into them and usually can't put them down.

I'm a Fox lover. I've loved VW's since I first saw "The Love Bug" when I was like 4 or 5 years old! I owned my first VW when I was like 17 after I had put my Step Mothers 1994 Mazda Protege into a telephone pole, it's name was Mazada after my step brother misspelled Mazda on a note he had left for us. The VW was a 1987 VW Fox 2 door coupe by the name of Sparky. Things on it started breaking and my mom made me get rid of it! I had also hit an 1989 Mustang with it... but was minor damage... She replaced it with a 1997 Honda Accord Wagon 5 Speed that's name was Lani. I had the car less then a year before I wrecked it through somebody's fence... Mom insisted of fixing it... then I got in a head on collision with an 1994 Acura Legend while I was making a left hand turn into a police station... the police response time was an astounding 45 seconds. Then I bought a 1990 Acura Legend 2 door coupe V6 from my best friends dad, it didn't really have a name but my girl always called it Felipe. I killed the Acura putting a radiator in it, I neglected to remove a pry bar from the engine compartment, when I started the car it caught the AC belt causing the timing belt to skip... smushed all my valves. =( I did not have the time to fix it so I got rid of it and bought a 1996 Cadillac Seville STS, who's name was Triela. I recently traded her in for a 2009 Toyota Corolla XRS who's name is Inara.
After owning a number of cars and driving many more than I have owned I decided that my favorite car ever is the Volkswagen Fox. So recently I purchased 2 of them. Both are 2 door coupes. One is a 1989 and the other a 1987. The 1989 is named Claes and the 1987 is named Rustie due to some rust.
Currently I am at a stuck point in my life. I'm in the United States Navy Reserve, Aviation Electronics Technician (O-Level). And Currently I work for Pinkerton Government Services at United Launch Alliance. I will be submitting an application to the Colorado State Patrol and if that doesn't work out I will probably go active duty Navy
I am engaged to my beautiful Lauren, who I love even more than my Foxs. We have been together for over 6 years now.
In most recent news 18 MAR 2009 I have started to track my Facebook for once. And I'm actually watching my iVdub again. I just have nothing new about my cars to add.
Well I don't know what else to say... if you want to know more leave a message... umm...

Mean people.
Narrow-mindedness. If I spelled that correctly. =p
People that enjoy hurting people.
People that put the frickin coffee can exhausts on their cars so they are really loud instead of actually putting on a performance exhaust.
People that think their fox isn't worth anything and just sell it to a junk yard even though there is no body damage to the car... =(

Cars, computers, video games...
My favorite video game at the moment is Fallout 3, it is totally bad ass and everyone should play it! It is amazing fun! Grand Theft Auto IV is still a great game but you can only play a game so long and so many times before you want to smash it.
My Plans for my 1989 Fox:
~Install 5-speed transmission to replace the 4-speed.
~Swap stock engine for Toyota 4A-GZE and convert to RWD. Or just fix the engine it has.
~New tail lights, front markers, and rear markers.
~Restore body, repaint blue like it is... perhaps a little different color blue but blue all the same.
~Customize interior. Base box in place of the rear seat since the previous owner cut out the metal the seat needs. New carpet. Reupholster door panels.
~Clear blinker lenses on front or smoked.
What is done so far?
~New brake pads, wheel cylinders and master cylinder.
~Cleaned it out very very well...
~New stock mufflers.
~Lowered it about 2".
My Plans for my 1987 Fox:
~Make it into a 4WD or AWD. Put in a Quattro drive train or engine swap to Toyota 22RE and do some serious mods to make it a full 4WD.
What has been done?
~Got it running.

~New brake pads, wheel cylinders and master cylinder.
~Customized instrument cluster, center console and tree.
