Vdubs and Audis are the best. I have driven American, Asian, and German cars and nothing comes close to a VW/Audi driving experience. I am on my third Vdub...a black 2002 New Beetle Turbo S. It's great... the only time I see Mustangs and Hondas are in my rear view mirror. :D
