First Snow of the Season...

The drizzle turned fluffy about 9 PM last night. As the temps were still above freezing, the precipitation kept flip-flopping between rain and snow.

This morning, I woke to a light dusting of the white stuff on the car and wet pavement.  The deck furniture was able to retain most of the snowfall, indicating we got approximately 2 inches!  Although the weather service calls for an advisory until monday (and another couple of inches to fall), this will disappear by Wednesday afternoon... highs are slated for the 50's.

I better get some work done on the Volkswagen before "old man Winter" sets his but down for the rest of the year!!
