The dampening adjusts compression and rebound simultaneously for ease of adjustment. Pillow ball top mounts in the front and rear on some applications allow you to maintain vehicle manufacturer suspension geometry design. The pillow ball top mounts also allow you a more direct feel for solid driver response. Camber adjustability is included on pillow ball top mounts that allow it for the ability to adjust camber from the actual coilover, instead of a separate camber kit.
Most applications utilize an adjustable lower mount, which means you adjust height without losing suspension travel like some other coilover designs do. With the mounts and most pieces of the coilover being designed for 6061 billet aluminum the kit is lightweight, durable, and rust resistant. The steel shock body is electroplated with zinc to resist rust and the elements. The valving of each set is matched to the springs installed for unmatched ride quality and reliability.
The Ksport system uses a Monotube design in which the oil and gas are separated within the cylinder. When compared to twin tube designs the Monotube dissipates heat better, allows finer dampening adjustments, and requires more expensive design process. Extensive research and development time was spent in conjunction with industry icon Magnaflow to improve on the factory offering, as Volkswagen has done a great job engineering the stock 2.0T exhaust for ample flow.
The 3.00” diameter, 100% stainless steel tubing is a half-inch larger than stock and mandrel-bent for maximum flow. These cat-back systems exit through a low-restriction T304 stainless steel Magnaflow muffler and dual 3” tips that feature our laser-engraved AUTOTECH logo, providing a menacing appearance with an aggressive exhaust note worthy of the all-conquering 2.0T motor!
Dyno tests (using a DynoJet 248C chassis dyno) show gains of up to 8 horsepower and 6 ft./lbs. of torque at the wheels. Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit Ksport big brake kits provide the ultimate in stopping power for your vehicle. Integrating new brake technology into the design of the kits allows for a kit that highly reduces brake fade and continually cools and refreshes the brake pads surface under braking. These brake systems are designed for easy installation with minimal tools required (in most applications).
Extreme Lightweight Caliper: Our extreme lightweight caliper comes in differential bore configuration. It is machined from aircraft quality billet, weighs just over 5lbs. each, and has machined in protection grooves for the bridge tubes. Aluminum pistons, high temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates are also standard on each caliper design. The opposed piston caliper design greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over the OEM design. The stainless steel brake lines stop expansion under pressure.
High Performance Rotor: Most applications utilize the 2-piece floating disc assembly which reduces weight both rotating and unsprung. The floating disc also stops thermal stresses of extreme heat from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor greatly reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris faster than conventional slot designs. Every rotor is always heat treated and balanced before shipment for the best possible performance.
Ksport SC5 Street Pads: These NAOC ceramic pads are designed to give you the optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions. Optimal operating temperatures are between 194°F - 1022°F for fast warm up under normal driving conditions. These pads reduce the amount of brake dust by 50% or more when compared to our race pads. The SC5 pads also greatly reduce the amount of noise and wear on the rotor over the race pads. The average coefficient of friction on this pad is between .46 and .53.
Ksport RC1 Race Pads: These carbon metallic race pads are designed to give you the best stopping power possible under extreme track conditions. Optimal operation temperatures are between 480°F - 1472°F so it is not recommended for street use due to high temperature needed for optimal performance. Designed for the racer in mind to reduce brake fade under extreme conditions. The average coefficient on this pad is .5.

Autotech SportTuned Rotors w/ Mintex pad kits Cross-drilled rotors are an excellent way to get increased braking performance from your VW. All Cross-drilled rotors are not alike, however. Autotech starts with high quality German-made rotors manufactured by suppliers to the VW factory. Each rotor is then precision machined on a CNC machining center (not a drill press). The hole patterns used are designed to give optimum cooling, but do not sacrifice durability, nor do they significantly reduce swept area. Each hole in a SportTuned Rotor is radiused to prevent pad galling, and the radius depth is the set to the rotor's wear limit. In addition, front rotors are then slotted for improved gas venting and pad cleaning. Finally, a cadmium plating is applied to military standards.
Mintex Red Box brake pads are included with each SportTuned Rotor Kit. They are an excellent blend of performance, wear and drivability.
SportTuned Rotor sets include two rotors and Mintex Red Box Performance Brake Pads. All front rotor kits include new disc retaining screws where applicable. Rear rotor kits include new grease seals or disc retaining screws where applicable.
