I like comedies and action/adventure movies a lot. Loved Herbie the Love Bug and Gremlins both! Plus classics like Tremors and Used Cars!

Rock and Roll is my preference, but listen to Pop a lot too. I don't dislike any music really, but prefer Rock mostly.

Most books I've read lately were about Volkswagens and the history of VW cars. I am really trying to get up to speed on these cars. Seems no matter what, I'll never know all there is about these cars. I've also been reading about Nitrous Oxide systems for use in my Gremlin or Mazda RX-7.

Nothing great about me. I sell lubricants and filters and have for years. Great when you think about how much I enjoy working on cars. My cars collection includes vintage Volkswagens including the 67 Beetle body-off project I'm finishing up right now as well as my 69 Westfallia I will work on next. Also own two AMC Gremlins and a Mazda RX-7 rotary engine. Won't mention daily drivers which are newer cars that we all have to make sure we actually arrive at our destination!

I am a member of the East Texas Vee Dub Club which meets at Barnhill's Restaurant the second Monday of the month in Nacogdoches Texas. I can tell you that by associating with these guys I've learned a lot which has greatly helped me working on VWs. Also we put on a great VW show every March which is fun.

Friendly, considerate people who genuinely enjoy life. I respect those who have respect for others and their likes and dislikes. Really enjoy checking out cars, especially cars you don't see everyday. Had a friend who loved French cars and owned more than 20 antique French cars. Not my cup of tea, but really strange interesting cars. My favorite were the Citroen 2 CV cars. It's France's closest competitor to the VW Beetle. Air cooled 2 cylinder front engine front wheel drive. How cool is that? Still prefer the Beetle though.

People who feel they can insult anyone and everyone through the anonymity of the Internet. If you wouldn't say it to their face, it's a good bet you won't get much respect for typing it into a forum either! And for God's sake, don't insult anyone's car either! Even if it's a Citroen 2 CV.

That's restoring cars for sure. Not just any car, but cars most average people smile big when they spot it, but cars the Corvette, Camaro and Mustang crowd look down on. Wouldn't have it any other way!
