I have, it is just hard joining a Air Cooled group when I'm selling my air cooled baby!!! *sniff sniff* Makes me soooo sad. I was actually afraid to bring my bug up here because she is all original floorpans and everything. Don't know how the salty air would treat her.

Hey hey thanks for the compliment, appriciate it! haha I wish I could go through her and get her to new, she needs work I do what I can right now to keep her on the road. In time, for now I enjoy her for what she is. Yeah alot of those busses made it up this way alot of campers stay on the road up here, the camping is great... Alaska Bus man isnt me, But I do know him he fixed up a sweet red split, then got it the heck outta here, haha sadly Alaska isnt to nice to cars...with all the extreams. I think his is down in Florda now...He showed it in Vegas a while back.

I'm on the Samba as well, Magiceddie88 is generally what you find me by- =)

Yep, me too. My only previous experience w/ an A/S was converting to manual! What's worse is the car it's on, a 74 KG, w/ all the smog and electrical crap VW was slapping on to meet US requirements. If you ever get a chance, look in the engine compartment in a 73-74 Ghia. Then run!
The autostick is just an additional twist to the puzzle.
Dude! I'm a hard-core Sambanista. Been on there for years! Unfortunately, they weren't much help w/ this one. :(

I hate autosticks - I really didn't understand it at all & i swear I was always grinding the damn thing.
